RISE aims for scientific research excellence that can foster innovation and have a real societal impact in Cyprus. In contrast to other Research and Innovation Centres this institution is being designed to be inclusive and open to everyone. We want to inspire and motivate! Our goal is not to just excel in science, but also to create jobs, help small and medium enterprises compete internationally and prosper.

Thus, RISE will closely collaborate both with businesses and academic institutions to solve real-life problems and engage in technology transfer activities. From the onset, RISE will support technology and innovation start-ups, and entrepreneurs, by offering scientific know-how, access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities specifically designed to meet the needs of tomorrow's innovators.
