RISE will be located in a privileged area of the historic centre of Nicosia, next to the new Town Hall of the Capital and the facilities of the Creative Industry Quarter designed by the Municipality of Nicosia. The building designated to host RISE, the old Municipal Market, is a landmark of the capital and a fine example of the Modern Architecture Movement. It possesses immense potential to be transformed into a 2000m2 state-of-the-art facility apt to host the multi-dimensional functions of the proposed centre of excellence in research and innovation.
